The Harris Poll
Heads up: this is more about how the project felt than the technical guts. Most of what shipped came out of team iteration at Left Field Labs, so I keep the deep implementation details out of public writing. Happy to chat about ideas. The "how did you build X" questions are easier to walk through in an unrelated codebase.
Great project. Thousands of content entries and fields to wire strategically to a fully custom implementation, so the frontend could take over cleanly.
Real work by the LFL team on the technical calls that got us to a clean release. High bar all around: tight code review flow, and QA verifying content population to the millimetre before the component took control.
Backed by a motion design team that defined the feel of transitions in detail, I took the lead on the motion implementation. In about a week, with top frontend devs, we landed navigation and reading that felt premium and highly controlled.
Genuinely a pleasure to work on.
