Work (and work and life)

I've started to feel more and more confortable with the workflows and dynamics at Left Field Labs. I've also been able to get to know more of the creative and smart people here.

I thought it was the right time to step back a bit from side projects and collabs so I could spend more of my free time with my family. The only thing I’m really keeping an eye on is finishing The Sternberg Clinic, which I think is in a good spot, and I’m hoping to launch relatively soon.

Reading

I've recently felt the urge to read more books. I guess I got tired of the zombie-like input I get from scrolling on my phone. I still write in my diary every now and then, but I've realized reading has become a must for me these days.

I'm still trying to find a good book or series that keeps me hooked for a while.

For now, I'm reading Clockwork Angel in Spanish. I tend to stick to Spanish for both books and games as a general rule. It's still too early to tell if this one's got me hooked or not.

What else

We moved to a new place. We're still in San Pedro, CA. I'm intentionally keeping things low-key so I can finally get around to unpacking the boxes that have been sitting there for two months. Moving is hard for me.

Short-term micro-projects I'm keeping an eye on:

• Take a flight with our little one, who's a year and a half old.
• Get the house fully set up and comfortable before Christmas.
