It's not the tools
There are two ways to do things: complete chaos, or slightly less chaos. Most people pick the second. That's where tools like Notion, Linear, and countless others come in. They give you a safe framework to operate in.
I prefer the first. I try everything, use everything at once, and let it get messy. Then, somewhere in the middle of that chaos, I define a handful of non-negotiable rules. I journal here. I don't open Slack first thing in the morning.
That's where the system comes from. It's not the tools. It's those small rules. The system is tool-agnostic. It just happens to live inside whichever tools I'm using.
